Laser Bra and Breast Surgery
The Laser bra technique is a newer procedure used to provide a strong base and internal support. The laser bra is used in many different breast surgeries including breast reduction, breast lift and breast augmentations.
The laser bra was designed for larger breasted women in hopes to reduce the scarring issue that some other techniques are known for.
The plastic surgeon that uses the laser bra for breast surgery will make a horizontal incision and then will make a vertical one. The surgeon then makes and sculpts the breast with a technique called liposuction. The surgeon will then the skin that he removed with the incisions to create the internal bra that lifts the existing breast tissue.
One advantage that the laser bra procedure has over some others done for breast surgeries is the short time it takes for a qualified cosmetic surgeon to perform it. The whole procedure does not take much more than a couple of hours and the patient can go home right after.
Another great point that the laser bra has over other techniques is that the loss of nipple sensation is greatly reduced or non-existent. The laser bra performed during a breast surgery also does not limit the patient’s ability to breast feed when they decide to have children. The recovery time is very minimal with this technique as well and allows the patient to resume normal life living in about a week from the time that the surgery was preformed.
At this time there are very few plastic surgeons that are familiar with the new technique of laser bra for breast surgery. Always be sure to have consultations with more than one qualified and board certified plastic surgeon before relying on your first one. Every plastic surgeon has techniques that they prefer to use so make sure that you are comfortable with whatever that is before allowing them to perform any surgery on you.
